I’m not in your field but have broken in different industries the same way. My advice is to invest in working pro Bono for companies that look good on your resume. It starts small with an unknown brand and then you move up.
I’ve been a Creative Director for brands like Nike and Louis Vuitton and you cannot believe how far agencies are willing to go to have them in their portfolio. Willing to be paid next to nothing. Because it’s an investment in attracting paying customers.
Good luck!
A suggestion or thought - look at colleges or career centers for teach the teacher or train the trainer type positions. Some high schools / junior colleges / career centers have programs for individuals to explore education and all the many levels within it. Beyond that think about your own education and training, is there any part of that that you would want to become a part of? Within many school districts there are curriculum builders / writers / planners and some districts even have coaches if that’s what you seek. Another avenue of thought is OSHA, harassment companies that give presentations or plants /factories (etc you get my thinking) that need trainers. You are currently in a high school, what about starting a club for those teens interested in becoming a teacher or a coach. This could give you an enrichment to add to your resume. That’s all I have for you. Good luck and best wishes!
