I’m in a bos/nyc LDR with my bf of 1.5 years. Covid has made things difficult as he’s extremely cautious about travel and is much more ok with virtual hangouts than I am. He’s also thriving during quarantine with new hobbies/free time while I’ve been struggling missing him and feeling like a downer. We both have flexible WFH jobs, but feel it’s too soon to move-in together. I’m really struggling with toughing it out given there’s no end in sight. Any tips for finding clarity?

I am working for a CRO in USA and a current base salary of USD 100K. I am moving to Canada this fall and the company approved an internal transfer to the Canada office. However, they offered me CAD 105K (much less than what I currently make). How do I discuss this with HR to see if they would be willing to pay me the same as my USA salary. Any comments or advice?
