I’m in the interview process for 2 companies, first I am waiting for an offer, the other knows about my other interview and is streamlining the process to get me through. I’m top 2 candidates for each according to the recruiters I am working with. If I get an offer before I finish interviewing with the second, how do I delay accepting the offer? Both will be relatively equal pay, good companies, WLB, etc. I know the bird in hand saying…

Its been 2 weeks since i had the salary discussion with pwc HR . They told me that the offer letter will be released within 1-2 weeks but i haven't recieved it yet . Anyone else has faced similar delay ?

This job will be based out of San Francisco. I currently make $30/hour for the same role in Chicago, after OT it’s about $60,000. Do you think it would be wise to accept the offer? I’m sending resumes out far and wide, ideally I’d be in a new role ASAP. I’m already starting to get requests for phone screenings so formal interviews will probably be on the way. The kicker is that my wife is 6 months pregnant and our first child is due next February, which is busy season the public accounting jobs I am applying to. I feel like requesting paternity leave or letting them know a baby is coming will make hiring me more difficult. How do I approach this, and when do I do it?

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.
