#3: they portray aging *very* gracefully. Far less age-phobic than American media. Older female actresses play their actual age (unlike Hollywood 40 year olds being cast as 55 grandmas). Romance is heavily played up no matter the age, you have 50-60 year old beautiful women on screen still casually playing romantic roles.
France is a mixed bag. It’s way way worse on the racism and xenophobia front than the US. They also don’t really have freedom of religion the way we do in the US. It’s illegal in France for Jews to wear a yarmulke in schools or for Muslims to wear hijab.
Pro
They have freedom of religion, it just works differently. You are free to practice your religion in private, but separation of church and state is taken very seriously. Overt religious displays are at best frowned upon (and in many cases forbidden) in state funded contexts (i.e. public schools)

#2 - be the change! I stopped wearing these two years ago and haven’t looked back. Not strapping myself into a torture device daily because the existence of nipples is too much for some people to handle.

Attorney 1, that’s akin to harassment. They really have no business commenting on your breasts.

I like how people visit nude statues in France and in Belgium we have the manneken pis 😂
France is ran by the people. The US is ran by corporations.
This should explain alot of the differences.
I am born and raised American. And I've lived abroad. I live in the US because my family is here, but life is definitely better in terms of life/work balance and overall social institutions in the EU than the US. Would not mind going back.
While you are correct when it comes to speech, the marked difference I noticed is that activism and social outrage is taken much more seriously in France than the US. Activism actually becomes legislation there, and the French will burn things to the ground if they have to. I respect that. Even though the French democracy is slow, like others, it's driven much more by the general populace, while in the US, it's far and away corporations that dictate legislation. If it gets in the way of making money here, it'll never make the congressional floor. In the US, even after BLM, election tampering, 2 bs wars, we are still living in a system that was effectively shaped by the Civil Rights movement in 1960s, which was over 50 years ago.
Also, the vast majority of the media bubble here is governed by corporations ensuring that Americans remain the world's biggest consumer because that's what gets them paid. Keeping Americans rabid is profitable because that's what keeps us engaged. The media in the EU is much more balanced and I was definitely more informed and balanced there.

I’m in the US and barring the xenophobia, there are A LOT things here I wish were more like Europe.
Like...a LOT of things
Submit this as project proposal for president biden. Now that you have the goals talk about timeline and tasks.
I want to be in France 😮💨 i was so happy and felt liberated when I was there ! Also the French girls liked me and though I was exotic 😵💫
US was founded (in part) by Puritans and other protestant cults. Still showing our roots today.

What we weren’t taught is that upon landing in Plymouth, the scouting party stole from the Wampanoag’s food stores and got into a skirmish. That pretty much set the tone for the next 401 years.
Talk about getting out of the boat on the wrong foot. 🤦♂️

I haven't worn a bra in years and I feel like people are always up in Equinox, Barry's, etc.
I dunno, Lloyd. The French are assholes.

Lot of America haters here. As a dual citizen of the US and EU who has lived both in the States and Europe, everywhere has issues. Everyone gets up in arms about American race issues because Hollywood is the source of modern Western culture but as soon as the subject of mosques with minarets or gypsies comes up you see the Europeans start growing little Hitler mustaches. Anywhere you go is a mixed bag, both continents are lovely in their own way, maybe France is a better fit for you than the States, maybe the other way around. But I’m quite convinced neither’s “better”.

Literally gun density alone makes the US less safe
