Can another tell me how the solution owner role in Slalom works? It seems to cover product owner and scrum master and PM concepts.. all good but sounds like too much work for one individual.
Do they hire a solution owner to run the ceremonies / write stories and be part of the scrum team and a principal solution owner to do more of the product roadmap / client facing PM work? Have interview and trying to understand the scrum team structure and the role of the SO in particular..
I have my final round of interview with Databricks for a managerial position. I was asked to come with a 3/6/12 month plan if I were to join Databricks and lead the team. So far, I've received great feedback in all the previous rounds. Kinda tensed about what would they expect from this round How can I not screw up and continue the feedback I have received before? Databricks
Your CV/LinkedIn job title can reflect the work that you do, not the title you are assigned. Don’t worry and pick a title that is a fair representation of your responsibilities.
Adjust your title on your resume and apply elsewhere. They’ll kick themselves when you leave
I’ve connected with my managers about this, who say they’ve brought it to HR and it’s out of their hands. I’ve connected directly with HR, who say that they don’t have a data position in the department already that I fit, and they don’t like creating new ones. They say it’s being prioritized, but they’ve said so for months and I never hear updates about it.
Bro your litterally a project manager. Your litterally getting scammed. I just looked it up you should be getting somewhere around 150k. The fact that their giving your research tech as a title is almost stifling you. Think about it they can’t even give you title or Atleast Resarch associate and junior data engineer means they don’t value you. They are taking more value from you than your being compensated for.
