I’m in NYC as a project manager at a WPP agency. 25 yr/Female/$90k salary. Thinking of moving to California (either LA or SF). What location/job title/career move etc would be best for me and why?

I accepted my position and salary in March 2021. I started at the end of September 2021. I didn't get an annual review lin 2021 since I was only here for 2 months before EOY. This year I will get a review, but it will have been almost 2 years since my initial salary offer and inflation has gone crazy. How do I approach asking for a fair COL adjustment in this situation? Is 6-10% a reasonable ask just based on inflation over the past 2 years? This will be my first time ever negotiating salary.

I'm losing my mind. I desperately want to roll off my project, I hate it, gives me anxiety. But i signed a contract about a year and half ago to buy a new build home & won't be starting the underwriting process until the home is done some time in Sep. My lender/RE Agent said I can change jobs as long as I make the same or more. I can have a one month gap between jobs. As a senior analyst, 3 YOE overall, is it too risky to quit? I can't handle it anymore & i don't think I'll be able to roll off.

In real estate private equity, 5 years experience as asset mgr. Should I stay at a firm with zero brand name recognition (new boutique started in 2018 outside of a major financial center with 750m AUM) where I am the main asset mgr as well as right hand man of the CFO but with 30% less than average comp. Or should I move to a bigger name with less responsibility/title prestige but with competitive comp and that brand name recognition? I plan to start my own firm in 5-10 years.

Partner asked me to search five employees at the client on LinkedIn to gauge their seniority so I could order their names accordingly in an email, “otherwise we’ll embarrass ourselves”. Wtf. It’s insane that this matters.

The account was immediately banned for no reason (not an offensive name, client actually owns a trademark for the name) Guessing you know where this story goes.
