Remote marketing positions hiring?
I recently posted about moving to Antigua and Barbuda to live and work remotely on the digital nomad visa. Several people expressed interest in how I'm doing it, so I created an instagram. I'm documenting the steps of emigrating including pet import licenses, enrolling kids in an international school, cooking local food, and assimilating to life in the Caribbean. For those who are interested, check me out at:

Has anyone gone CAIA route ?
If you are starting as an Audit Associate some time from now with Deloitte or any of the big 4, do they expect you to have passed/completed all 4 parts by the time you start? Received the Becker Reimbursement email from the recruiter not too long ago but have yet to start. I’ve seen plenty of people get to Senior at a big 4 firm without the CPA so I am a bit confused in that aspect. Any helpful feedback will be very much appreciated.

Do you mean you want to travel as part of your job or in general? Because traveling for work isn’t that glamorous and you often go to not exciting places and it’s usually the same not exciting place for weeks on end. I guess if you’re single and never want to go home, you could travel different places or stay the weekend. If something involving tax works for you... TRS doesn’t travel all the time, but there can be a lot of travel; EY TTT and Deloitte TMC are basically all travel.
Yep, think you should probably go with the carnival or flight attendant route. JK, OP.
You could always try to do a rotation through an “acceleration center” (or whatever we call them these days) in India if you really want to travel. Then you can go on weekend trips all over the place. The travel would be on your own dime, but if you’re truly looking for adventure travel rather than travel for the sake of travel, then I feel like this is your best bet.

Network your butt off. See if there is a group that has a rotation opportunity, talk to anyone who knows anyone that works in any of the advisory groups to see if you could meet with team. If they want you, they will have the ability to pull you. You’d have to make yourself very marketable and desirable. It’s not easy but possible!
Tbh I constantly consider those options ^
Yep that settles it there’s no hope for me

Not best practice to base your career on traveling a lot
Exactly 👆🏼
In the last month I’ve been to NYC, Detroit, and a suburb of Detroit. I went out to one restaurant I wanted to while in NY and had to work and get Uber Eats the other nights. The MI trips were shorter... I got crappy takeout from the Detroit suburb and had a formal work dinner while in Detroit.
I had a client for MONTHS in a suburb of Milwaukee. I basically lived in a Residence Inn because there were no higher end hotels nearby and my dining choices consisted of places like Cheesecake Factory and Toppers Pizza.
