Maybe instead of texting them, write it out in a journal. I think you’ll feel the satisfaction you’re looking for this way
I once heard someone explain its better to reframe your thinking from “I’m sorry” to “thanks for understanding” mindset and it’s helped a lot. The truth is, I am not sorry but I do want to acknowledge appreciation for people who are patient with me or give me their time.
You dont need to apologize for existing and for having needs or whatever seemingly selfish thing you are worried about in your head. We all have these things. You are ok.
Try to do something to take your mind off it, like playing a game until in passes.
If you know you won’t do it again and cringe at your past self for doing it you can move on
I hope you get through your anxiety issues. I've been there and it almost fell to depression. It helps when you have someone to talk to. Or just like what the other comment here says, write a journal. Put into writing all your emotions, frustrations and desires. It will make you feel okay.
