I've seen a BA in international affairs with 5 YOE end up as the "chief product officer" for a $30M organization with no technical or product (rather than program) mgmt experience. Another Director for AI ($5B org) with a BA in poli sci and no technical experience/education either.

I trained on .net and then after I supported .net application. After 3 years I got to work on ssrs reports. We build reports from scratch in ssrs, then I worked on qlik view application. Attended training on qlik sense. My question is for which openings/certificate I have to look .net (I have only support knowledge) or reporting tools like ssrs, qlik view ? I am struggling to choose with the way to upgrade myself.

Does anyone stress about student loans? I have $176k in loans and as January gets closer, the panic attacks have gotten worser. I have moderate-conservative views. My team, 6 other people, are all very left-leaning. Politics isn't usually discussed outright, but the liberal views frequently seep into our meetings.
