Hereditary is pretty good. And if you’re up for some interesting dialogue choices, I like the Witch a lot.
Love hereditary. His follow up midsommar is amazing too
Evil Dead 2 & Army Of Darkness are both a wild ride. Also the original Halloween (1978) and the most recent Halloween (2018) are both stellar (you can skip the ones in between IMO)
Watch the Rob Zombie horror movies. Amaaaaaaaazing.
The Ritual was cool.
Quarantine is good.
Haunting of Hill House and Bly Manor are really good.
Ash vs Evil Dead is campy but good clean fun
Never seen it, but Cabin In The Woods seems to be highly regarded.
Blanking on the name but the one with the girl and the well is good if you've never seen it.

This person knows horror
Just finished Haunting of Bly Manor on Netflix. It’s a series, but a damn good one! If you haven’t seen S1 (Haunting of Hill House), I’d HIGHLY recommend start with that.

I’ve been enjoying the Netflix series called Evil. Solid choice of you’re into demonic possession
Yeah I like it. A bit formulaic like network tv tends to be bit it kept me entertained.
“Cronos,” Guillermo del Toro.
Trick 'r Treat is a classic
Halloween 3, Creepshow, Killer Klowns from Outerspace, Sleepaway Camp, Pumpkinhead... and I love the first two Hellraiser movies, but if Freddy freaked you out, they might be too much.
Sleepy Hollow and Bram Stoker’s Dracula are also great, but cheesy 80’s horror is always the way to go imo.
Watch some classics. Anything by Hitchcock. And Night of the Living Dead.
The Babadook
Not a horror movie per se, but Rope by Hitchcock (with Jimmy Stewart) is one of the most suspenseful movies I’ve ever seen. Not one of Hitchcock’s best known, but an incredible film. Absolutely incredible acting by the entire cast and it will have you squirming.
I’m excited about the Hitchcock recommendations, I’m going to watch a few this week.
