Hey Sharks,
Have joined HCL last week. Assigned a project which seems not too good technically. Thinking of joining other organisation (which is paying low but work wise it's good). If I leave now will it be considered absconding. And if it is then does HCL blacklist those employees for future.
Kindly suggest. TIA.

I’d say something like - the client is concerned that the case is changing hands at this critical time. Please take care to answer each of his questions thoughtfully going forward, etc. There’s a tactful way of letting her know to take extra care with this client while shielding her from his doubts about her credentials.
Is it possible to have a sit down or zoom meeting with both of them and introduce them? That’s what I did with my problem clients I originated who were unhappy I was leaving and didn’t want the other lawyers at my prior firm to take over. Make sure junior is well prepared for the meeting and give her a rundown of this client, their matter, personality, etc. Try not to end up in an situation where you run the entire meeting and do all the talking. Let the junior run point to some degree so they can see she’s competent and client can see you’re not just abandoning them. Bonus is you’re teaching junior an important skill in dealing with difficult clients
