Like I’m more so looking for career guidance. I want someone to talk with about feeling lost in my career, that can help me find what I want to do/might be a fit for my personality. Any advice? Does this type of counseling exist?
Following. Just started therapy too, but wondering how to figure out the career angle. Want to pick a next career step that won’t make me want to flee screaming after 2.5 years.
Careful about mentors in industry. Its not unlikely they’ll use what you say against you. It’s different from Consulting- the mindset! Mentoring is not valued as much
Following - I'm in the same boat. I'm starting general therapy next year and hoping to find a career counselor that can provide some general guidance as well. I've gotten some Linkedin requests from executive coaches offering their services (cold) so I might see if a consultation is worthwhile there.

You need a career coach. There are many executive coaches available it you need to find the right one to help further your career.
I can relate. I felt so lost and anxious when I first moved from MBB to industry. Couple of things, give it time. Industry is difficult to figure out, so patience is the key. Second, career coach will help only if you put in the effort so be ready to work it out (I initially did not put in the efforts and it was not helpful). Third, list what kind of career coaching do you need? Go as granular as you on the paper, it will help you immensely to find the right fit.
Where do you find a good career coach?
I just left for a role at a startup and they give us a Learning & Development stipend each year. We can use the money on career coaching sessions, and they work with a company called SNP. Haven’t had my first session yet, but I experience a lot of anxiety and imposter syndrome. Hoping these sessions will help me work on that.
