Hi --- for those who made the transition from an agency, what do you love about being brand side?

Got an offer from Pre IPO unicorn. It is my first time getting stock options and I need your advice. They are offering 10k stock options vesting in 4 years, strike price is $4. Current value of the stock is estimated at $10 and at the time of IPO it will be around $21. How should I calculate this stock value to TC?

Do I add 15k (6*10k/4) or 42.5k (17*10k/4) to the TC?

My 6mo baby started daycare 3 weeks ago. We raised concerns about the frequency of feedings during the day (she was going for 5 hours without getting a bottle). The teachers assured us that would not happen again. Today I noticed she’s went for 5 hours without being fed. I cried so much and I just can’t sit here and eat knowing she’s not eating. I am hesitating calling again because I don’t want to be that parent and potentially create a hostile environment for my baby. I just don’t know wtd 😭😭😭

I love certain things about teaching, but all in all its just not worth the money for the amount of bs I have to do & put up with. I recently graduated from a data science program and am looking to get some experience in the form of an internship. I had been working full-time as a teacher while also studying full-time so my portfolio isn’t the greatest. My question is, coming from a career that isn’t in tech and with little experience how can I make myself stand out more? More personal projects? More certifications? I’m hoping to get one before the summer.

I'm at a career juncture and have decided on a career in anti-money laundering as my new path. I'm also highly interested in additional education to further my career and am eyeing graduate school. Which is best? A law degree or a master's in international relations? Those are where my interests lie. I keep reading that JDs are valued in compliance but am wondering if a different graduate program is better for my goals. I already plan to obtain the CAMS certification. Thank you!

I am currently employed as an assistive technology position that was full time and was cut to part time. I am seeking expand my career possibilities. I can go to Accessibility however it seems every job requires engineering background. With that said, I prefer working with people. Looking at the screen of code is not what I find exciting.

I used to be one of the highest performers on my team. Now I’m actively looking for a new job and would love to leave ASAP. It’s impossible to find any motivation to work hard in my current job (and my manager has noticed) but I don’t have a new job lined up yet so I can’t give up just yet.

I’ve been asked why I never tried a Big4/ MBB as I’ve got results & with big names as my clients. What does it take for an experienced (+20y, 7countries) to be hired? What is the application process? I am trying to pivot out of the QSR industry after 11 years while I go back to school. I have been a general manager for 8 years, and my growth path has stalled. In addition, I’ve been in the field for for the better part of my working life. Anyone have any suggestions on fields that would be a good area to start looking?
