I recently accepted an offer (company X) for Aug 1. Com X (big company) is a media planning role (same title I have now: Senior associate), but in a different media type & pays $10K more ($70K). However, I had also applied to PM roles and had no luck with getting any callbacks until recently.

Com Y, is small (<100 employees) but pays $80K+. Would it be weird to take an offer and then leave (if I get the com y job)?

Com X job said I could be sup/man given time, earning $80K+, advice?

I’ve been in the HVAC industry for 11 years with 10 of those in the field as a technician. As a technician I was considered very capable and was always considered one of the best where ever I worked. I’ve moved on to sales and currently work inside sales at a manufacturer rep. I’m still searching for the outside sales role that I want but I keep running into the “I lack outside sales experience”. Currently working at AM100 firm as a 7th yr litigation associate. The goal is to go in-house but haven't had a lot of luck getting past the first or second round of interviews. I have an offer for an in-house contract position (12-18 months) working on a project that's heavily regulatory and would require a lot of work drafting policies and procedures. Any thoughts on whether a contract position might be worth taking to get the experience I need for a real in-house job?

I work at a small agency. I asked for a raise and was told you can get one in a few months if you do X,Y,Z but also keep in mind you make (on the low end of) what your position should make.

My question is—I wear many hats within my agency because we’re small and growing—So while I may be an art director, when needed I’m also a PA, or a production designer etc... SO shouldn’t my salary reflect that??

I received an offer for 80k to work as a desktop engineer for TCS at one of their client’s locations. However, I have seen poor reviews for working at TCS and I’d like to get some feedback from anyone currently or had previously worked for that company. What is the environment like and has anyone been in a situation where the contract with TCS and the client ended and had trouble with TCS finding them a new role at the same pay?
