I’m interviewing for a an EA role to CEO, who is also interviewing for a chief of staff. CEO has alluded to me being a great CoS based on recent exp, and longer term COO and has asked if I’m going to find the EA role limiting. Do I address my interest in the CoS role, plus gaps in my experience or do I focus on the EA role and finding opps to add value outside of EA responsibilities without stepping on the CoS toes? I really want to work for this CEO & don’t want to talk myself out of the EA job

Who else feels like when they go on an interview and mention that they want good WLB it’s an immediate turn-off for the interviewer? Shows how terrible work culture in the US really is.

any insight into how a pmm skillset is different from a brand strategist one? of course the pmm applies insights to and influences the product, but it seems like a lot of the core elements - research, understanding the user, generating insights, developing messaging and angles to speak to them, etc are super similar. interested in transitioning and I want to understand where my gaps are!

I was on the course with my mentor this week for a business related event. All the men continually thought we were the cart girls and asked us to fetch them things despite being in a regular golf cart and wearing our (not beverage or course) company polos. Part of me wants to just say “it was hot anyone could make that mistake!” But part of me also feels like it was sexist and, based on prior experiences, it’s hard not to feel that way.
