I have two years of automotive/aerospace manufacturing experience and am looking for new opportunities. I recently applied to a Solution Engineer - Commercial Manufacturing, Automotive, Energy (MAE) role at Salesforce, and it sounds like a great fit. Is anyone willing to offer me a referral or advice on how to move forward in the hiring process? Salesforce

Why would you leave accenture? (And please, don’t say anything that relates to pay)
What does that have to do with the question?
They might ask you about that or they could steer in this direction which is very common for your industry. Given your background, it could even be focused on that. However, I wouldn’t think they need a conversation on this. So, very likely it would be all about that
I suspect they are looking for fit, culture etc. Is the hiring manager newer to the company? That might be a reason to engage other opinions. Also, for an exec role, it does make sense to get a broader perspective to make sure your approach and the company’s align.
I went through it and am glad I did - I realized I wouldn’t be comfortable working with the peers, even though the CEO, CFO and CIO and I clicked well, so declined the offer.
Interesting to hear, thanks pwc!
