How’s Protiviti? I just had an interview for a IAFA manager role and it sounded pretty interesting. How’s culture, WLB, technology, offices, etc.?
Interviewing at McKinsey & Company and recruiter informed me I’d be based out of “North America” and can work in any city where there’s a McK office. I’ve seen several posts here about people being assigned to a home office, even if working remotely most of the time. Curious if this more general assignment is new?
Been asked to present my current client’s plan and PCA in second interview for a role. Am I being over cautious by not feeling comfortable with this?
What is the difficulty level of an experienced analyst BA interview at McKinsey & Company? Super nervous and my phone eval is scheduled 2 weeks out. Any tips would be super helpful!
I have been offered the consulting analyst position starting at 33.5k + 10k joining bonus, I’m wondering what the salary progression is like. In year 2 can I expect 33.5k with no bonus or will this go up? What about year 3/4 assuming I progress at the average rate? Thanks
I have the L1 interview at Capgemini for Front end profile(ReactJS). What kind of questions can I expect?
Help!!!.. A recruiter reached out for an industry role in SAP data and analytics where I will be a position where I will help drive the analytics strategy as well as set the platform and guide the C suites. I have close to 10 yrs in my experience. What salary should I target? It’s healthcare industry.
I come from the Azure Technical Support background where we used to troubleshoot and fix IAAS issues in the client's environment (loved that profile!). Now, from what I know, Microsoft doesn't have technical support roles/positions in Toronto as they are mostly outsourced. Folks here who are working for MS, please let me know what role do you think I'll be suitable for if I were to apply in MS. TIA!
As a heads up. If any of you are interviewing at Facebook and were planning to leverage their offer to negotiate at another company, they will recall their emails to you with any offer information as soon as they think it’s a no. I told them I was not interested 2 hours ago because it was an exploding offer (even though I haven’t finished negotiating my other offers), and the email is already gone. Thankfully I took a screenshot as soon as I got it.
Hello, I have 2.5 years of experience in corporate finance and I'm looking for an exit. I'm considering consulting (non-finance). Any suggestions on paths to consider? TIA
Some schools allow you to retake a test and submit the scores after your application is in, as long as it’s a few weeks from the notification deadline. How does this work considering interviews? Is it worth it to take advantage of the option to retake after app submission if you’re on the low side? Just not sure it will really make a difference if they’re already in the middle of the review process ...
Hi, currently preparing for Lazard financial Advisory role, London office . Analyst position or Associate depending on performance. I’m transitioning from audit. Any advice would be really appreciated. Thanks Lazard
Hello everyone, I am currently applying for entry level marketing positions in Europe and UK. Can anyone please provide me a referral at Unilever?

Thank you notes after an interview with ECD / GCD / whoever the final decision maker is - are these done still? Haven't interviewed in a long time and unsure of it's still important (I'm freelance).
How are non-consulting case interviews different than consulting cases? Would you approach them the same way?
Have an offer on the table at a startup that’s $35K more than current big 4 salary for a Senior Manager role. Benefits package is very comparable (401k match, healthcare costs, fringe stipends for WFH). Startup has been around for 5+ years and has secured a solid, 9 figures of investor dollars. Is it worth the move and having to leave my extremely secure “network” and role at a Big 4?
DM me for referral in Cognizant 1. Automation Engineer (Selenium/UFT/API/DevOps/Java/Python) 2. Mainframe QA Experts (CICS/ JCL/ DB2 / COBOL)
I’m interested in moving client side, but I’m not sure how to begin networking in the companies I want to be at, or if I’m senior enough to make a good leap. Any advice from people who have moved from agency to brand?
Resignation going in tomorrow! Taking a CTO role at smaller IT services firm...more $, better title, local, better benefits, just in time for baby #2! Happy 2018 🍸🥂🍻🥃
Is senior promotion automatic in big 4? How do you not get promoted to senior? Do you have to be really bad not to get promoted to senior?
have a dilemma. I’m an A2 and have decided recently that accounting is not for me. I don’t enjoy the job and I have yet to pass a cpa exam, so don’t want to waste more time and $ taking them. I’ve tried to look for jobs but haven’t found anything yet so looks like I’m trapped for another busy season. since goal setting talks are coming up, should I be honest with my pml that I don’t plan on continuing to take exams/want to leave? or will that hurt me more somehow? I don’t know how to lie anymore
Big decision. Took a job at a small org/higher level with shot to GC to develop my strategic/team building skills. Turns out that’s not the role. I’m micromanaged, under-utilized, & stagnating- no real development, but it’s SUPER easy, good pay, nice folks. Recruiter called &, Hello, offer. Different industry, more pay, work, development, opportunities to grow into F500 parent. I know I should be satisfied with decent $ & an easy job. What’s wrong with me? What to do?
Are they going to target Visa workers next?

Hey pharma fishes - I head up a boutique agency focused primarily on healthtech, including several companies who are service/solution providers for life sciences orgs. We’re looking for FL writers who know the business of the industry, and can tackle B2B content for product developers. Interesting brands and an opportunity to hop on the various ways they’re digitizing fast. DM me if you’re interested. Remote is totally cool.
For people who have switched from Big4/Tier 2 consulting firms to MBB, what's the reason you made that switch? Also, how are you finding consulting at MBB better than your earlier consulting gigs? What according to you, is the selling point for the tier 1 consulting firms?
Do all firms share utilization reports for all staff with everyone? I feel like it’s awful for our company culture to share everyone’s stats office-wide. Just breeds anger and bad vibes all around.
Any stories of people getting admitted to the NY bar despite getting fired from their first legal job? For context I was fired from my first big law job during Covid-April last year, due to performance issues and failure to meet billables. They’ve remained somewhat neutral on my employment affidavit by leaving the box regarding satisfactory performance blank and indicating it’s firm policy to only verify dates of employment. Am rather nervous! Thoughts? Has anyone gone through this? How?
