I’m interviewing for an inter company accounting role, any tips on what areas should I cover for the first round?

I am just between a career pivot and I need some advice. I graduated in Biochemistry near the top of my class with an expectation to go into medicine so I had been working in clinical research. But I decided otherwise and want to go into business now, as an analyst. I have some logistics experience and getting the AWS Cloud Practitioner certification but I need to start a new role ASAP. What is the best way to proceed? (I don't even know how to align my resume for this pivot...)

I want to learn to ask for what I want at work re: salary, opportunities to work on projects that grow skill sets versus only using the skills I was hired for. I want to feel like my voice is heard when I have an idea or solution. But I find that culturally I’ve been fighting this mental space that says don’t make waves, work hard because it’s the right thing to do. I read the books, listen to the Ted talks but still find my voice easily silenced. Advice?

My family are more morning people and are up fairly early but just stayed with in-laws for an extended time, and they wake up late!
It drove me a little crazy since it’s just me and my child in the mornings. My husband likes to sleep in too but did try to get up earlier so I wasn’t just alone in their house.

Might have an interview with the legal team at a studio. Junior role, TV production, 0-3 years experience, I have about 1 year. What skills/qualities should I highlight? And what makes a good in-house lawyer?

Did a first interview with hr rep, went very well. she set up the hiring manager meeting for a few days later. Met with the manager. Another great conversation, went over time and was told I’d hear back about panel set up. Following day I get a request from hr rep to “continue the conversation” with manager. This is set up Tuesday.
Why do you think the manager wants to meet again? Good? Bad? I felt great about the interview when we ended.

My most recent position has provided great exposure at a leadership and strategic level but due to a change in leadership and restructure I’ve been moved around to support directors on strategic priorities and don’t really have any quantifiable deliverables to reference on my resume - any suggestions on best way to approach?

I was instructed 3-4 weeks. We are hitting week 5 and do not want to keep asking for an update and give the impression I'm impatient. Although I'm not worried it will uncover anything, I am worried of putting all my eggs in one basket.

I interviewed for a role last week and followed up with the recruiter this week. The recruiter said the team is still working on finishing the final interviews before making a decision but if I have any competing offers or timeline issues, I should let her know.

After more than 10 years in Italy as a freelancer or moving from small company to small company, I got an opportunity to apply for a really nice position at a seriously large and well known company in a completly different country .
The conditions offered sound waaaay too good to be true, even considering the different costs of living.

How long is too long?
I’m at the end of a recruiting process that includes 5 interviews and a take-home assessment, all of which went well. That was 18 days ago. The HR rep was on vacation and came back 6 days ago. She told me she was going to meet with the CD to regroup 5 days ago. I still haven’t heard anything. Is this normal?

I actually have a question: husband had 4th (final) interview with company last Tuesday, emailed them follow up Wednesday, heard back Thursday, them saying that they will be in touch with him “next week with next steps”. Still haven’t heard anything back. Not sure what is going on…?
