I’m interviewing for this Advising Specialist position at Edward Jones. It’s a remote opportunity that will allow me to stay in the industry in a non-sales format. Does anyone or know anyone that has any experience interviewing and/or working for this positions in the last three years? What type of candidates do they look for? Any tips or any things I should know?

Jones values serving in partnership. I’d use that word specifically. Partnership among your colleagues and peers, partnering with the firm itself and partnering with your potential clients and their families. It’s remote and I’m not familiar with this role specifically (I’m an advisor in the field) but best of luck!
Just be yourself man and tell them that selling is not about convincing but helping and how you wanna make your clients financially confident with the knowledge you’ll receive at Edward Jones
I guess reading comprehension is what they look for at Edward Jones, huh? 😊 I didn’t know what to say after that answer.
