First, why are they having you be interviewed by someone that’s going to be working under you? Second, I would ask them what work they’ve done on their current account that they’re most proud of - usually shows you what kind of quality you can expect from the client and your CD
I don’t think it’s weird at all. I’ve done it at my current job. And I always think it’s pretty polite and respectful of the company to have these conversations before someone is hired.
