Hi, I've recently been applying to a lot of tech companies in hopes of landing a more sales-orientated job. For my job, I service 200+ accounts monthly generating under half a million a year. I've applied to a few places like HubSpot, Grammarly, and LinkedIn.
But I want to know what they look for

I'm looking for some salary guidance for moving to Australia. What's a good base pay for a middle aged management consultant? I got an offer of 275 base+super. Is that good, bad, or average for about 15 years of experience between industry and management consulting? Is aiming for 300-350 base too outrageous in the aus market?

Any advice on getting me out of this slump would be greatly appreciated!
I have a request for interim relief pending before the court filed last Tuesday. It usually takes 1-3 Business days for a disposition. It’s now going on the 5th business day. I want to reach out to the court to follow up but don’t know how to phrase it. We need it decided like today. Any suggestions? It’s also an appellate court so I’d just be contacting the clerks office now the judge/chambers itself.
I had a screening interview with an AmLaw200 firm and after sending a thank you to the practice group leader for the interview and receiving a nice note back, and during the interview, I got positive vibes. But it's almost been a week (6 days) and I haven't heard anything from them. What is the normal time to wait to hear if I will be moving forward in the process and does anyone recommend following up with the recruiter (if so, what would you say)?
I know there is a lot of discussion on here about billables, but I am a first year estate planning associate and I’m struggling to meet my billables. Can anyone give examples of what they bill versus what they don’t? Also, another part of the issue is I am working significantly faster. Our plans are hourly, but we give quotes and now they’re coming in under budget.
Anyone doing first party insurance coverage work willing to share their salary. Rising 3rd year at a large firm with 1,950 minimum. Just had my annual review and was told I’m getting a 30% raise. My gut says that I was drastically underpaid last year and they don’t want me to realize that and leave but my ego would like to believe I was just that much of a rockstar.
I have so much going on that 60% of things are really being half assed. Everything is delayed. I'm trying to delegate it's just taking time to get people up to speed. What are your tips to dealing more than you really can?
First-year associate here. For all those who have lateraled in this market, do you recommend I make the jump to a bigger law firm? I love my partner and enjoy the work, but the compensation is extremely low for comparable mid-size firms. I bill over the minimum billable requirements every month, and I’ve been told I’m a good associate and have good work product. Lately, it’s hard to feel motivated knowing that I’m billing as much as people making double what I make.
Opposing counsel sent over about 700 pages of board minutes but the pages are all over the place. One page will be from minutes in 2014. The next in 2017. Then the next back to 2014. Was it on purpose? Can I ask counsel to resend in sequential order?

I switched two years ago from regional real estate/energy to a local small, but established residential real estate practice. While I’ve gained so much practical experience and run my own book here, I want to shift to a non-traditional remote role in real estate but keep getting turned down. I have strong credentials but I’m worried this small firm experience is killing my marketability to large companies.
