I was approached and asked to interview for a lateral position. This was over a week ago. I sent my "thank you" emails and received a response from one partner stating something along the lines of, "great meeting you, I hope you accept the offer." Since then, I haven't heard a thing from the firm.

Am I still waiting? Do I follow up?

So i have been giving interviews from 2 months have 2 offers,2 are from some startups which i'm not considering,
Two offers which are worth mentioning are from UIPATH SDE-2, OYO WDE-2 Each offer has problm associated with it
UIPATH SDE-2 : Offer compensation wise is way too good, now problem is they only work in c# and angular and i don't want to on it as i work on node.js , java ,react etc
OYO WDE-2 : The work is frntend heavy & i'm a fullstack ,so confused should i change my role.Plz Suggest

I received an interview invite for McKinsey’s Ops internship. While I appreciate the invite, I was hoping to interview for a generalist position. Is it better to ask the recruiter if I can be considered for a generalist interview slot instead or to accept the Ops intern invite (with the hope of transferring to generalist after the internship)?

A question for recruiters. When you call someone asking them if they are interested in an opportunity and then ask them for a technical interview the next day and they ask for an extension does it impact their application?

What’s a good way to stop being jealous? A friend of mine has been extremely lucky when it comes to job. Got their job out of undergrad last minute when someone dropped out. Their manager moved to MBB and needed people so pulled them over. Now they work on an internal team (40 hour weeks or less) making 200+ while I’m grinding away making 120.
