Recruiters constantly reach out to me on LinkedIn, ask for my CV and say my ‘experience fits perfectly for X role’ - then they disappear into the void after that. What is with that?! Should I reexamine my CV or just put it down to another recruiter filling in their quota of hires they had to present to client?

How do you politely turn down a job offer or back out of interview at last step without burning bridges? After meeting the hiring manager and stakeholders I don’t think we’re a good fit. This job also requires relocation. I don’t want to take a job and uproot my life for something that isn’t the right fit. I’m currently unemployed so feeling a bit desperate but also don’t want to move for something that isn’t right. Thanks!

I have been tasked with finding a good diagnostic tool to assess math skill growth from the beginning of the year to the end of the year for grades 1-8. I've used generic tests in the past, but haven't ever found anything that really did much for me. Doesn't need to be a free item, just good. What do you use and do you like it or not? In my employee contract, there's a section which mentions that I can't provide software dev services while being an employee in that company.

I know it's an odd question but, is there still a way to provide services legally? Freelance or a solo agency?

Need help assess an offer from #PwC. Director of M&A IT (DDV - Deliver Deal Value). The offer has base salary (based on cohort) and sign-up bonus, but does not have the bonus structure for Director level at #PwC. HR lady said that they will give you that when you start.
