I think any work is great opportunity. You just need to word your work correctly to your manager to get proper recognition.

What you described is within a Product Manager’s job. It is grunt work, but exposure to customers can led to other things.
I’m in a customer facing role now, so I’m genuinely appreciative for the opportunity to own it - first chance to manage a team and execute a piece of the GTM with accountability, but in a somewhat lower-risk environment.
