I am looking to enter big law. I had a clerkship on a state Business Calendar and am a current first year litigation associate where I have prepared for a trial, taken and defended depositions, and have extensive motion writing practice in tech, business, and employment cases. Is it a waste of time to try and make a move to big law with such few years of experience?

My coworker always looks me intensely in the eyes when he speaks. I guess he does it to everyone but I'm the only one that seems to react to it. I always come off so submissive and sheepish when he does it. I feel like he notices and does it more now.

29F. I’ve become burnt out on spending my free time with people I don’t enjoy being around (i.e people who I feel relieved to leave after spending time with them). With that said, I’ve started to distance myself from my dad, 2 aunts, childhood best friend, and other friends. Has anyone gone through something similar? I just can’t get myself to muster the energy to be fake when I’m around them, but I feel guilty that I’m basically cutting them out of my life and am nervous I will regret doing so.
