I'm wanting to know what people think is better. Kaiser or ucla health for working as an admin staff. Ucla seems to have good pay from what I see on the job descriptions but kaiser only shows pay grade. Ucla has pension and a raise it seems every year. Today i got call from HR she said your profile is on hold due to budget issue.
My problem is thats I have not yet resigned from my current job and Due to 3 months NP none of them ready to take my Interview.
Feeling Demotivated now after TCS ' HR call.

I went in-house somewhere with a very strict salary band. I didn’t negotiate (it was a dream job, and I was just so thankful for it!!), and I really regret not doing it. I at least wish I would have tried negotiating for a signing bonus.
Maybe knowing this you go in with something smaller than you otherwise would have, but I think you should still do it. And maybe others will say to still go big!
You should at least try. As long as done politely, you’re fine. You’ll regret it if you don’t ask, better to ask and be told no and know you didn’t leave money on the table.
What’s appropriate? 5k more? 10k?? I really don’t know.
