I’m looking at a transformation role at McKinsey which is based in the US. I hold British citizenship, will McKinsey be open to sponsoring my visa?

Is it normal to have an extremely difficult time getting a job in brand strategy?

I have about a year's experience in the role but I keep getting rejected after final rounds even when I have people pulling for me within the department, consistently improve my elevator pitch, ask plenty of relevant questions, try to connect with interviewers, etc.

Reunited with an ex and things moved very fast with the two of us spending a lot of time and nights together but we waited to consummate the “relationship”. Do you disclose when you were promoted on your CV? I’ve been as a assistant manager for over a year but have just been ‘promoted’ to manager. Have been doing the same role for the entire time… only thing that changed was my official role title. Do I need to split this out into two roles on my CV?

Would ideally like to keep as one optically to avoid having to ‘spend more time in the manger role’… as I’ve been doing that role for a year now and keen to move on!

Would you lateral from B4 into McKinsey as EM or take an industry offer that is $50k more in TC (thank MCK offer) and better wlb?
