I’m looking at doing a side gig doing professional mentoring, interview preparation and resume design/building/editing for some supplemental income. I’ve been doing it informally for a couple years with folks in my network and to much success. Folks have recommended I branch out and start charging for the hours I spend on it. I actually enjoy it and very savvy in the federal government world and consulting. Anyone know where i could start or be connected into doing this?

Does it get better (even slightly)? I am a first year M&A, and so far I don't necessarily mind the long hours but the unpredictableness just grates on me. I also don't feel like I'm learning anything: make this PowerPoint slide blue not red or make this chart in Word not have word wraps (all stuff I just immediately delegate to our document formatting team). I'm a little bit older as a first year (had a corporate job before LS), and these sort of tasks drive me nuts. Is 2/3 yr better?
