Hi guys,

I need some advice, I’ve been in a newly created role within a pharma agency for about three months now and it is not going too well. There is little to no structure or direction from senior leadership, no access to client data, little to no billable work. Worst of all, no project is related to what I have been hired to do.

I would like to move on with a different agency asap, but I’m not sure how to proceed with such a short time here.

Hey, I had a job interview yesterday where they asked my salary expectations. I answered, then they said “the position pays X and this is on the higher side”. It was about 7K less than what I wanted. But it sounded like they were very firm with what they offered. I can’t tell if they meant it when they said “this is already on the higher side”. Also, I’m losing my bonus so I asked if they give sign on bonuses. They only give to execs apparently. How do I rebuttal without losing the opportunity?

I just started at a different B4 firm and want to refer a friend to the firm as well. Would it hurt him if I made the referral or should I ask someone more tenured? I actually don’t care about the bonus so all ears if someone else can refer haha

Do sabbaticals / gaps look bad on your resume? Next week is my last week at this job, the role I was going to take fell through, and now I'd really prefer a few months away to rethink my plans.

First few weeks at my role: I tend to be very nervous prior to meetings, hence I haven't been putting up my best performance (although the team has been saying I am doing great). I just have so much to learn in order to be up to speed and it's stressing me out. Any advice on taking it easy and enjoying my life?

I feel like in our school they are asking more and more of aides and other staff with no certification (beyond HS diploma). Don't get me wrong I don't mind helping out but we are the lowest paid position in the district, why are we asked to fill in for everyone else with no compensation? Ive subbed in classroom and special areas... um even uncertified subs make more than me... admin insists this is happening everywhere and we need to be flexible... but is it really?!?!

I am currently working at Accenture as Application development senior analyst with the CTC of 8LPA (3.5+years exp). I love my job here , all my leads are supportive and I can say I am way too much comfortable here. When I reach 5 years, definitely I will get TL promo here.
Now I have another offer in TCS with 11.5 LPA with same role(Senior Analyst).
Should I consider joining TCS for the package , or should I wait in Accenture for 1 year to get team lead promotion?
