What’s the one thing you wish you would have known or done differently if you could start you mba applications over?

Looking for digital strategy, experience and human centred design in health. Rapidly growing team. This is tip of the spear, redesigning clinical models , new products, digital platform design etc. Prior consulting/design agency experience needed. Please DM me for further information.
Some people just have it all. The partner that I work with is on fast track. Became partner in late 30s (no mba). Has multiple kids and is also a talented artist. How do these people manage to have a very good family life, also be on fast track in the firm (which means spending endless hours ) and also do something they love (sing, paint, dance) on the side? I have one kid and I don’t seem to find any time outside of work and spending time with my kid
How to get into M&A/IT strategy from a data engineering/analytics background? Can't get a MBA right now.
Looking for insurance recommendations. Anything out there better than Nationwide or Lemonade? Picking my pup up this weekend.
I am looking to gain certification or other credentialing in diversity and inclusion, not only because it would look good on my resume both for future job-search purposes and also to become better educated in this area, which is growing in importance. I looked at SHRM's "Inclusive Workplace Culture Specialty Credential" and got a bit of "sticker shock" at the cost - $1,655.00 for members. Does anyone have other suggestions on training/credentialing in this area?
Is NYU Berkeley scholars worth it? Free tuition, but I would start mba without experience. I would start with approximately 1 year of internship experience. Will my job prospects suffer?
Is it worth pursuing the Specialist consultant track at McKinsey? A recruiter reached out to me regarding a role in healthcare. Currently have 5 YOE, no MBA, am a SC at D.

What are associates with roughly 2.5 YOE making in Los Angeles? I’m making $81K but feel like with insurance, student loans, car payment, rent, etc I am unable to save anything and am so stressed.
How do you do the min amount of work while looking for new jobs? I mean, by nature, I am a mediocre worker but I hate it when ppl judge or look down on me (people pleaser). Therefore, I do a good enough job and it doesn’t raise eyebrows. This balance is really affecting my health 😂😢. First world problems are the WORST.
About to start on a health insurance account, can anybody with experience in this vertical give me an idea of what to expect
My eyes are going to shit because I stare at this computer all day long and yet our eye insurance doesn't cover a routine check up? 🤔
My insurance company won’t cover Concerta anymore despite a doctor’s note. The generic is absolutely not the same. Any thoughts on alternatives? Adderall?
Would you rather get an MBA from any program of your choosing (all loans) or guaranteed 130K/year, 40 hours a week until you retire (no chance for raises/bonuses)?
Lesson learned: when in APAC do not ask your client to take you to their favorite restaurant. Wound up eating "turtle sex organ soup" and century eggs last night.
Anyone back to travel already or soon-ish? The COVID cases started to increase again 🤦🏻♀️ kinda concerned about potential weekly travel routine
SOS. Wracked up a ton of credit card charges last month. Have three credit cards. One is fully paid off. One I can make the min payment. The last is Amex gold and I can’t pay it all down. What to do?
Did anyone from big4 recently got interviewed or offered a job at Amazon? These are two different cultures, worried that it may not be the right switch. I am SM4 and being offered L7 Principal-TPM at AMZN. Insights, please...

Would anyone be willing to give-up 10% of your base salary for a standard 8-5 job in industry?
Uplift or Jarvis standing desk?
Went through a bad burnout a few months ago and ended up taking some time off during the Christmas holidays to recover. Now that I am back, I feel disengaged and can’t help but constantly feel like I don’t belong here. Anyone else go through a similar experience?
How much room for negotiation is there on role level when moving to MBB as a lateral? Currently M2 at a boutique founded by ex-MBB partners. We often compete with MBB. Recruiters at each firm have steered me towards joining at Associate (M) /Consultant (BB) level which I believe is common practice for lateral moves. This would likely result in a small pay cut for me, even at A3/C3. All have suggested a 6-12 month window to Manager promotion is possible. Would appreciate some advice, thanks!
It will be 4 years in the firm performing analytics, business intelligence & PMO roles including 1.5 years of international client engagement. Is it time to target Manager? How long should I wait?
Anyone got the deets on EY’s TAAG practice- salary and hours? I guess at the S1 level. Been seeing job postings on LinkedIn for both staff and senior level.

Guys, has any one ever had to leave the US because they did not receive their H1b receipt notice before their EAD expiration date? Or were you able to present a different document to your school DSO as proof of being selected and in the process of waiting for H1b approval?
Last min requests for proactive decks to show the client ‘we’re doing stuff’ that have to be worked on over the weekend only to be not used the following week are really getting to me. It’s a wonderful way to let employees know you don’t care about them while having mandatory meetings so the company can tell employees how much the agency cares about them.
My agency asked me for work examples from previous experience that they used in landing a new client. This is a first for me. Anyone else experience this. Did you get a commission or any bonus?
