Portfolio question to creatives, especially the freelancers out there. The last produced campaign I have in my book is from 2020. I’ve been busy freelancing since but nothing book-worthy IMO. Lately I’ve been getting a lot of “what else you got” and “send over your up-to-date resume” comments from recruiters and GCD level creatives. How do you handle this? Do you give a general client and/or agency list? Some are also asking about side hustles and it’s frankly getting exhausting.

Good Morning! I have an employee who’s been with us 6 weeks. Training process usually is about 8-12 weeks to be fully up to speed. This employee has already called off sick 4 days since start date. I have an am meeting block and came into 6 messages asking if this person would be working this weekend as planned, so I asked what the plan was from them. Old employer arranged a WFH contract deal where my contract is on par with my current pay. Have to pay both sides of FICA taxes, but I control my time and know I can be there for my wife and kid when needed. Keep grindin’ y’all! ✌🏽
