I started a publishing company focusing on entertainment goods with a friend called Foretold. I'm trying to find like minded individuals to network with, we're based out of the Springfield Missouri area.

Starting a FT with a startup and it has a minimum 8 weeks notice to leave the team. Although i have no intention to leave rn, and I’d like to grow with it for some more time, this is extremely long from the average 2 weeks.

Is this common in start-ups? It’s an awkward point to bring up when about to sign on… is this worth negotiating?
