I’m looking for some casual, cotton blazers. Bonus points if they’re stretchy. I actually have one from target that I love, but I got it at least 5 years ago. I’m adopting a “work uniform” that consists of a plain black cotton dress and white tennis shoes, and I need some blazers to pair with it when I have to dress up. My company wears jeans, so I need to keep it casual. Any recommendations?

Have you tried loft?

I just tried a couple from there and didn’t love them, but I’m going to keep an eye out. I think it was just the cut of these specific ones that I didn’t like. They were patterned which made them more casual too!

I think Ann Taylor has cotton sateen. They look nice generally

like

I’ve seen them before, but haven’t tried one yet. I’ll have to do that!

I’ll check that out - thanks!

I got some great blazers from stitch fix. They were lightweight and a little stretchy and came in all sorts of colors and styles and were great. The brand is skies are blue. I’d assume you can find outside of stitch fix and may be worth checking out.

I second this. Great brand!

H&M a few years back. I can’t even think about work clothes now though

I know, I’m starting to do it now so I’m not scrambling/stressed in the Fall 😭 I’m only going back 2x a week, but I gained weight and started a new job with a casual dress code so I need new clothes.

Why not a cardigan?

I’ll be doing cardigans most days, but when I meet with VP’s and higher I’d like to have a blazer to throw on.

Do you do Stitch fix? I have some fabulous soft blazers from there that are great for over a dress for depos or can go a little more casual.

Express has some super comfortable and chic blazers!

My favorites are from the brand "Bar III" sold at Macy's.
