Clearances are good for a number of years depending upon the level. When was your last investigation and what level clearance have you been granted?
You should be fine then.
Generally your clearance will be fine if you can reactivate it within 2 years after leaving.

Once your clearance is no longer sponsored, it becomes current for 2 years as long as the underlying background investigation is still in scope and can be easily reactivated at any point during that time.
If the underlying BI will become out of scope during that 2 year window, though, then the current clearance window is shortened accordingly.
Trusted Workforce 2.0 will change all of that, but we're several years out from that being widespread.
I’ll caution that just because it’s current, it doesn’t mean it’s equal to being active. Companies still have to request it to become active and they may or may not want to do that if someone else already has an active clearance and is ready to get crossed over.
