I’m looking to find new opportunists outside of consulting, where should I start? And what roles fit best for a generalist? Been in consulting for 5 years

Anything is fair game. Any industry in particular you want?

What do you want to do

Strategy & Operations. Search for firms + that job title in your city to get the ball rolling. Best of luck!

Aim for a FAANG

Do any big 4 offer tuition assistance?

I’ve been terminated by my firm. Is there a reason not to sign the separation agreement and accept severance?

Flew Delta Premium Select from DTW > PWG on the new Airbus 330 plane. It was the best experience I’ve ever had, worth every penny 👌🏻

Can someone use their magic 8 ball and let me know if people of lower ranks will ever travel for work again? If not I don’t want to do consulting hours anymore

Does everyone who joins Big 4 have a 2 years and done mindset or just me? I feel like I just joined Kentucky and enjoying the ride until draft day.

I have constant anxiety over being laid off or fired. To the point that I’m starting to feel paranoid, reading into everything around me. I need some tips on how to deal with this as it’s crushing me.

Lately, for some reason, I feel like I’ve really hit a wall. I feel no motivation to do anything and constantly procrastinate until the last minute to work on an assignment. Then, I’d stress about doing a bad job and getting fired. This is a vicious cycle and I know that I should seek counseling. But beyond that, what else should I do? Has anyone experienced this before, and how did you get out of this cycle?

Thoughts on technology in deals at b4?

Associate Director, CBS Client Tech, 14 years with firm, $172k seem about right?

When asked for what salary I’m expecting for an AAE or Junior Strategist position, what is a reasonable number in NY?

Gonna be within 1k of delta diamond. Unlikely to reach again next year. Should I go for diamond this year or rollover to guarantee platinum for 2017 and 2018? Or have diamond 2017 and gold 2018?

KPMG folks. If you are on the bench, where do you usually bill your time?

It really is a shame that the US spends so much money training foreign students in our schools only to make it difficult for them to get a visa. My roommate just had to fly back to India.

2YoE at Tier 2 FS practice, considering a switch to commercial law. Any thoughts on the long-term TC trajectory at MBB/Tier 2 consulting vs Magic circle law? Also on the stability of the respective careers? I have this perception that even if I don’t survive Commercial law, at least I can move to Swindon or Milton Keynes and retrain as a high street solicitor doing divorce filings making £50k for the rest of my career. Exit opportunity for consultants seems to be pretty bleak in UK.

Aloft Boston Seaport or Westin Boston Waterfront?

McKinsey has pretty traditionally been considered the best of MBB, followed by BCG, then Bain. Given all the scandals its dealt with this past few years do you think its standing within MBB will drop? I think its too big to fall out of the group but I definitely am leaning towards BCG being the new preferred/top option for people trying to break in to consulting.

Does anyone have concerns or info re: travel getting shutdown in/out of the US, Canada, or U to other countries to shoot? Specifically looking at Australia or Canada, open to other suggestions. Trying to bid a job and not sure which directors to consider for our final list as we want go ensure they can be at the shoot. Any info appreciated

Has anyone been denied H1B after receiving a RFE? I just received one and uscis basically wants to know how my job is related to my education.

And I was offered by EY GDS to be a Technology Consultant. How's life there? Is work-life balance real? How about permanent remote work?

Are managers in B4 equal to senior managers in Industry (one level below director)?
