This is the most realistic ask I’ve seen on this bowl in awhile. The salary and WLB is commensurate with your experience I definitely think this is possible. The hard part will be finding companies that hire corporate counsel at your level but I know of at least one with the hours and comp you want
If you’re willing to work at an ECVC boutique that starts at $200k for 40-50 hrs a week and weekends off, happy to chat. We offer an interesting combination for folks with a corporate background that want exposure to in-house work - and we’re hiring.
Based on my own situation, that is very realistic. And try some weeks being more like 20 hours (with half-day Fridays May-August). I think your best bet will be companies hiring their second attorney (varies but the 100-250 employee mark is probably a safe bet). I would rather wait tables again, than go back to billables, lol. So, yes, I could not be happier being done with firm life. No judgment, I know plenty of attorneys who enjoy working at a firm. Hopefully if/when you make the move, you find the change just as rewarding as I have. Good luck!

Definitely interested! I’ll send you a message.
Very realistic but I would really consider staying 2 more years and doubling/tripling that salary
I don't think it guarantees it but I would imagine it certainly improves the odds...
I went in-house out of law school, don’t regret it at all.
Went to a top three school if that moves the needle.
you’re hired
You can make more and still work those hours.

Possible but you're more useful if you get another 1 or 2 years of practice in tbh.
