Hi I work in patient finance and I am desperately bored with my job. I have a bachelors which isn’t a requirement for my role. I have been applying non stop to jobs that do require a bachelors and I am qualified for. Either I don’t get called for an interview or when I do I’m not selected. I currently work at a large research institution and am in the process of getting retroactively reclassified to a new title (Long story but my PI is cheap and routinely pays ppl the bare minimum so now the Union is helping me w/ a retro reclass.) Reclass can take 2 - 6 months to process. Meanwhile, I am interviewing for industry job. If I get an industry job, what do I do if my reclass isn’t processed yet? I want the title and the money owed which may be about $15000- 20000.

Is anyone here familiar with RSUs and stock options as part of divorce? My arbitrator was not and she asked us to hire an expert to get a valuation. She’s convinced I cannot take my portion in kind if we could not settle on the value and I don’t want to be forced to sell my half to Husband at whatever valuation expert provides today (RSUs and stock options are under Husband’s name). If they low ball I rather take the risk and take them in kind. Any advice would be helpful.

Graduating with PhD in comp neuro next year. I just did a week long internship at MBB to check out consulting, which I loved but ultimately will not be accepting my offer for life considerations (my wife also works at MBB and we have young children). I recently started a new job in a marketing department that had a lot of change and turn over the past 6 months. Digging through some of the social media spend, in totality we've spent 120k on LinkedIn ads with 185 conversions. Total. We've spent another 59k on FB/Meta ads with piss poor results and I'm about to look at twitter.

What would y'all do in this situation. It looks like our whole ad strategy needs to be rebuilt from the ground up, if there even is one.

I saw that one of the traffic sources for a recent YouTube video we shared is “YouTube Advertising” even though we haven’t put paid support into it. When I asked the person featured in the video if his team had anything to do with it, he said that they’ve been promoting it on YouTube with paid efforts. How is this possible? Are you allowed to promote a video through paid if it’s not on your own channel? I’m still new to the field so maybe it’s something simple I’m not getting.

If I remove an IG reel from our profile's grid, does that mean it'll stop showing up in other people's feeds? Can't find a reliable answer to this so posting here :/
