I'm looking to hire an SDR/BDR. We are a series A start-up, so building processes around sales is part of the gig. Remote role.

Need to have some experience, ideally in tech.

General location?

Looks like you've started without even realizing it, hah. Tell us more?

Spend the extra 60-70k on an SDR who has experience. As a small startup trying to train a new SDR will be expensive and timely. Look up “enterprise SDR’s” from larger organizations and provide a career path to become an AE.

If a recruiter slides into your LinkedIn DMs with a job opportunity, is it appropriate to ask what the salary range might be in my reply? I wouldn’t want to waste their time or mine by interviewing unless I had reason to believe the salary may be higher than my current position, so wondering if cutting to the chase is reasonable, or frowned upon.

The agency I work at is officially now a remote company. While I’m thankful to not feel pressured to return to work when I’m not ready, and I love the wfh freedom, I still find myself kinda sad. Do I wear sweats for the rest of my work life? Haha. My identity feels a bit lost...

Is anyone Chief of Staff at a consulting firm or have a similar role? I’m considering new leadership opportunities (the COS role) at a much smaller newer consulting firm (~5 years old) , but in the short term, the compensation and benefits aren’t as good as my current role. In summary it feels like more work for less money, and when I asked for more - they couldn’t afford it. Do I take the risk and hope the future nets out or skip the opportunity? Would welcome any thoughts!
