Lol, I assure you OP there is plenty of cerebral matter involved in sales. The chessboard of a competitive market, commoditiz(ing) industries, differing client and prospect personas, your solution’s strengths and weaknesses, product road map….and having to balance it all, the client, your company, and service the inevitable implementation F up. I assure you there is plenty to think and stress about. 🧐

I think about this slightly different than others. If you were a company would you want to compete in a market with the smartest and strongest companies (tech, banking, consulting)? Or, would you prefer to go into new markets or less competitive markets?

Everyone is trying to be in tech right now. If you can get in, you will be with all of the other really smart people trying to get ahead. Choose a less competitive environment and you can be a big fish in a small pond while you progress faster due to less competition.

Siemens- 34LPA
Deloitte- 35 LPA.
Both joining projects are similar to Research to department.
What factor should I consider in choosing the company.
