I’m looking to pivot my career into UX Research. Does anyone have any advice on where I should start? I’ve heard bootcamps can be good but many that I’ve seen seem to be more UX Design focused. I know having a personal portfolio is important too so any advice would be appreciated.

My employer has a sponsorship program that the CFA qualifies for. They sponsor 100% but only after 6 months of full-time permanent employment; thus I will qualify in may 2023 (I just started). Should I wait for may for them to pay, or pay the initial costs myself to avoid delaying my career longer? I'm 26 & 1/4th and just graduated college. I don’t think I’ve met a single person in biglaw that I enjoy being around or working with.

I'm a cashier. We just got a new manager, and she's making things really hard for us. She starts work at 4:30am and leaves around 2:30pm, but she still expects us to stay until 6pm and work on the weekends! She gives us really long shifts and doesn't give us much time for breaks. And when we ask her about it, she gets mad.

Currently lead ux designer with 6 years industry experience.

So I work as a freelancer for an agency. And I have another client outside of that agency. I work between figma files and sometimes use components across files but change and redesign them to fit the project. My manager in the agency was able to "go to main component" and see my other client's project which included some of the agency's icons (they downloaded them online) and some basic tabs and drop shadows components. I feel busted but I shouldn't but can't get over the embarrassment.
