Interview process for internal role?

Ive just failed the final round at McK risk. An experienced hire & only had 3 weeks to prep. Feedback - everything was great apart from the quant part and that I should re-apply. Made minor calc errors in two interviews (formulas / logic was correct and answers were within 1-5% from correct ones). Wonder if I can reapply for McK generalist/implementation sooner than in a year? Also if anyone at BB would be interested to refer me, please let me know ☺️ FS /IB/ risk consulting / strat - 5 YOE.

Case fatigue is real. I love doing cases but starting to think I’m overdoing it.

Hi everyone, I recently accepted an offer at McKinsey (college hire BA). Can anyone tell me what the typical pay progression is? 2nd and 3rd year BAs, then first year EM? If I have a Master’s, would it be worth it to go get an MBA once I’m eligible? Do you think not having one will hinder me as I progress/if I decide to exit to industry? McKinsey/BCG folks - work wise, have heard a few times that the most apparent difference with both firms is the management style. Mck adopts a more top-down approach whilst BCG a bottom-up. Would you say this is true? Would love to hear your stories too!
