Gotta say the best “thinking on my feet” thing I did was Toastmasters for about two years. Helped me immensely presenting to Boards. Helped me learn to slow down and such, and would highly recommend it. Usually it’s an hour meeting once a week. You get to practice taking on different roles at the meeting. Practice practice practice… There are clubs all over the world, check out https://www.toastmasters.org/ and find a club near you. Check out more than two clubs if you can, to get the right fit for you.
