I'm looking to take the CISSP exam so that I can move into the cyber security practice. For those who have taken it, any advice regarding study material or online lectures ?

My SO just passed it a few weeks ago. He said you can reach out to him. His suggestion: Sybex, 11th Hour, CBT, Cybrary.it <http://cybrary.it> <http://cybrary.it>. While you read Sybex you’ll want to cross reference material to help better understand. cissp.reddit.com is great as well.

Cybrary.it for class/lectures and sybex for textbook

Thanks Booz!

Cybrary is free and the lady with the lectures is the famous one who does the bootcamps in DC

Thanks Senior!

I have the sybex textbook and it's not hard to follow. I feel like I'll be more attentive with lectures though. Thanks for the cybrary recommendation again!!

The test is nothing like in the books. The books have too much garbage. Passed it on pure luck. Find someone from Deloitte who can share notes from our in-house training.

That'd be great if I can find someone with those notes. Any notes really haha.

@OP - what is your current service line?

.

If you don't have Cybersecurity knowledge then don't even think about taking it.

Do creative directors have to manage people?
I don’t like managing people, especially juniors who are still figuring out their career paths. But at my company, in order to be considered a leader, you have to manage people. I see myself as a leader, contributing ideas and strategy… I just don’t want to deal with developing performance goals and compensation. Is this the case everywhere? Can I be a creative leader without managing?
