I originally heard 10 days from symptoms starting (which is a bit ambiguous with omicron given how mild it is). Then I heard from an MD I should be fine in 4-5 days. Then I heard wait 3 days from a negative test. I tested positive Tuesday after noticing a tickle in my throat Sunday. I actually got tested due to a headache Tuesday, not the throat. Now my symptoms are gone. Bottom line, I really don’t want to get anyone sick, but when the heck is a self isolation over?

my bf & I lived in nyc but since covid happened he has moved out to a suburb to save money on rent and live with his parents for a few months. I quarantined out of nyc with family in the spring & early summer but came back to nyc to avoid doing long distance with my bf.
