Do MBA start classes usually become friends? When I started at D out of undergrad it seemed like a large number of us in the office became friends and hung outside work. Is this similar to office start classes out of MBA?
Looking to get a few certifications, I have worked in both IT and HR consulting and am trying to decide between ITIL, SHRM, and PMP. Any thoughts on which would be best for future, quickest to get, hardest test? I get the cert paid for and a bonus upon completion, so trying to decide which one to pursue or the order if I want multiple.
Any 🐠 have experience with, or have considered, Cornell's 1 year MBA? Already have a masters, 6yrs consulting, but would like an MBA so the shorter time is appealing. Also looking at Insead
I’ve been working in the HR space and am interested in pursuing an MBA to transition into Human Capital consulting/ Change management/ Talent technology and analytics. I’ve been seeing a few T30 schools that have a focus in those areas including Vanderbilt, Rice, BYU etc. Would it be better to pursue an MBA program highly ranked in that concentration area or to try to get into a school ranked higher overall? Thanks!
Would you call it a solid career foundation if you have been at Deloitte for 10 years starting from an Analyst to being a Senior Manager? What would be possible career paths? No MBA

Early 30s, have an MPH and am thinking about getting an MBA; however i need to work part time and am considering online given the current crisis, but not sure if it’s worth the investment, especially since MBA programs involve networking. Does it really make an impact on your earning potential?
If I want to jump to strat consulting, Corp strat, or top MBA from tech consulting, does a strategy rotation program sound like a good idea or is it a step backward? Currently senior analyst (cont)
I've been working towards a T10 mba since before I graduated from undergrad. Hustled at work to get early promotions and the best projects. This allowed me to go from $60k to $115k TC at 1 YOE. Founded a student org at my UG serving URM and stayed involved after graduating, personally mentoring close to 100 students over 4 years since graduating, and the org itself serving around 2000 URM since its inception. 169V 160Q on the GRE Dinged with no interview at HSW Kellogg Booth last R1 (cont)
Thoughts on Carnegie Mellon’s MBA program (Tepper)? Seems very underrated, with a ton of smart kids ...
Mba hires, are you jealous of your ug hire coworkers? I mean they’re doing it younger and have the flexibility to not pay for the mba
Would anyone be kind enough to endorse me for CISSP? I’ve passed the test and have 4 years of experience in kpmg cyber (secops, compliance, risk, bcm). Just need your name and member id. Message me and thanks so much for considering!
Hi Tax Bowlers, I'm an experienced associate (2yrs) in a Big 4 Transfer Pricing division. I have reached a point in my career where I am considering taking up a professional certification. Several colleagues recommended taking up either ACCA or CFA, however, I see little connection between these certifications and the work that I am currently doing, and what I plan to do in the future. What would you guys suggest? Would it be detrimental to my career if I did not take up any certifications?
Anyone in strategy/account consider an MBA? Would it be worth 2 years if I came back to advertising after 🤔
Anyone from ATK (Kearney) know if experienced hire recruiting is picking up? My referral left the firm, would love to chat with anyone about their experience. 2-3 YOE here, top 25 undergrad (if that matters😅). Mix of commercial & federal projects at BAH!

Hey fishes I know it's kinda depressing but that's what I am into so it's been months now with Amazon and I've working in a new role learning great stuff but here's the catch I don't have anyone to contact with like people here don't reply if you ask for help and if you even call out like they defend by saying they're busy . Forget favors they don't reply to "hey". I have total 2 yrs of exp so barely saw work culture at office. But I wanna ask is this normal or I'm overthinking.

Feeling like my firm has a very outdated parental leave policy (and none of the women partners have children)! What is the parental leave policy at your firm? Please include: (1) size of firm; (2) location of firm (city, state); (3) how many paid weeks off from firm (not state/fed benefits); (4) other policies such as ramp up/down time, etc.

Clearly PwC is Gryffindor, Deloitte is Slytherin - How about EY and KPMG? I'm feeling EY is Ravenclaw, but also saw people saying colors don't match... Thoughts? Bonus: Is BDO = Muggles?
I just had an employee tell me they are on the verge of quitting due to burnout- actually going to quit but was told to talk to HR for options (we don't have any in place). The manager wants to keep them as they are one of our best employees. Any recommendations on how to help alleviate burnout when the cause is from customers rather than the company? Is it worth it to let the employee leave and spend months looking for a replacement causing more stress/burnout with others?
I am sick and tired of a male subordinate bossing me and other team members around, acting like he owns the whole project, deliverables, me and other team members. Project Director chooses not to do anything about it. Any tips on how to deal with that asshole on a daily basis?
Anyone here trying to plan a college graduate’s stay at home graduation celebration? What are your ideas? Beyond a nice dinner, champagne, zoom w their friends and maybe balloons I’m not sure what else to organize. Any ideas v appreciated!

Fishes, looking for recommendations on growing business development and sales skills. Finding and growing pipelines, establishing marketing materials, closing sales, and similar for services. I have on the job experience within consulting but never any formal training or education. Entering a new role where I'll need to build organizational capabilities from scratch. Any recommendations on programs, certificates, courses, books, or other similar ideas would be greatly appreciated. TIA!
I was curious about the product manager role at Apple. Role definitions can vary from organization to organization, so I was wondering what does Apple expect from their product managers? Or even the day to day life of a product manager from someone who has worked at Apple.
