Hello, I have received an offer from Southwest Airlines as a Associate Technology Analyst with their direct college hire program. Will be graduating in May with a degree in MIS and also have internships experience as a Business Systems analyst intern. The salary compensation started off at 66,500 but was looking for the 75k range and they got back to me saying the best they can do is 68,500. They also have a 401k company match up to 9.3%. Do you think this is a solid offer for this job market?
I have a weird experience with KPMG India . Two weeks ago I had salary negotiation with the HR manager. He told me that the offer will be released in a couple of days but I haven't received the offer letter yet.I tried reaching out to the HR manager but didn't receive any response. Shall I take it as no?

Woah! You need to change agencies or ask for a raise. Not sure about the Dallas landscape but my third year in Austin I was clearing 90k+
Oh thank God. I’m in PR rather than advertising, but was about to feel real bad about my 75k at 3 years in DC
45k as a mid-level in Dallas is what I was making about 8 years ago as well.
Feels important to note that I'm at a small agency.
You should be around 55-60 if you’re contributing.
That’s horrible to hear considering what they are paying in Austin.
I was at The Richards Group 20 years ago, in my third year I was making 65k. Small agency or not you should get the hell out. I was hired at Richards for 45k.
I’m making 45k as my starting salary at my first full time job in Chicago.
Just wanted to let OP know for planning purposes in case they wanted to move around.
Dude, that’s low. I make $80k in Austin. 5 years experience, fwiw.
