Upper body day! Injury is recovering well so was able to push a bit more. Feeling good (and tired!)

How do you think climate change will impact insurance coverage in the future?

How are people managing communication and exec presence with ADHD?
During meetings I tend to get off track and sometimes even form words as my thoughts are forming. So my points are a bit incoherent or shape up at the end versus the start

What gym do you go to? I’ve been thinking of signing up for GoodLife but I’m allured by the nice gyms with the “social wellness” aspects like Cambridge, Altea, Equinox etc. They are quite expensive though so I’m not sure if it’s worth the cost

~6 weeks pregnant (IVF and PGT tested embaby) and spotting again.
First time was last week. I freaked out. Went to doc, they said everything is fine.
A few days later it started again. Very light, brown.
Anyone else experience this? Reason to worry?

How long does it take after I quick alcohol to start feeling good? For reference - I have been drinking about 3-5 drinks per evening, for about 20 years.

Starting on my journey to sobriety today from sex addiction. I’ve been clean from alcohol for several years but my therapist has pushed me to start attending AA meetings in addition to SAA meetings. I know I can’t overcome this alone.

How many therapists (and social workers too!) see a therapist themselves? Do you find it helpful?
I think there's this myth that therapists have all their own sh*t figured out, and for me at least I know that's far from true (hopefully it isn't just me). On the contrary, I think we should be leading by example!

Random thought. I would describe the tiredness you feel in pregnancy like a heavy stone tied to you that just drags you down and you’re too tired to care or try to fight it.

For me it’s not super constant or frequent but when I get that tired I feel like I become part of my mattress. 😂😴

I don't know if this is the right bowl to share this but I felt like this could help someone else. I had been having trouble at work and there's a lot of complexity that's around it. I got sober just over a year ago, started this job shortly after that, and have been working from home for a lot of it. For months I have been off my game and couldn't figure out why, I have been anxious and sloppy. Everything got better when I halved a mood stabilizer med I am on for anxiety!

I’m great a vision and high level planning. I hate dealing with the intricate details at the next level and monitoring progress, especially during periods of low motivation/burnout which I’ve come to associate with my ADHD. Is this something you all deal with? If so, how do you manage?

I just read a book called The Midnight Library. Fiction, about a woman who kills herself and finds an in-between state where she gets to explore the infinite other paths her life *might* have taken based on all the choices she made during her life (to end her promising swimming career, to quit her high school band, to dump her boyfriend). She had to choose in the in-between place if she wanted any of those other lives instead of her “root” life, and she could choose to survive.

Is it strange if a husband continually tells their wife that they don’t have anything to talk to them about when the wife tries to engage in conversation. Or him stating that if he has something to say then he will talk.
