Depends on you Budget. LIC is a great place to live. It is just a couple of stations away. If you want more budget friendly then Flushing, Queens. 7 train local or fast take about 40 mins. I lived in Flushing in 2007. The rents in the area were about 1600 for a 2 bed apt (J4). Good luck! Just curious do you really have to go to NYC office everyday?
I want to see what the options are for
1. Short commute and
2. Budget
And then compare! Sorry, I know that’s a lot of options.
