My I94 has expired and the current firm has applied for an h1b extension. But it is still pending as it was done in regular processing. I have a receipt from USCIS.

I have an offer from another company, would they be able to file for an h1b transfer at this point? Would they also apply for an extension at the same time?

Worried as I don't have a valid I94 and am staying in US on borrowed time with a USCIS receipt only

How do you go about making friends in NYC? Making genuine friends in your 30’s is definitely not as easy compared to when you were 5 😩. I’m F/35. I tried Bumble BFF, but so far I haven’t really clicked with anyone, or all they want to do is bottomless brunch (I mean brunch’s are fine, but not all the time).
