I’m new in the US, started following a local finance “guru” since every country has its own complications. I’ve been listening to Dave Ramsey but I’m not sure about his Baby steps, who do u recommend?

He’s a little too wild with his no credit card, a credit score is really an “I love debt” score approach. But I think he has digestible steps you can implement in getting rid of debt.

Chris Hogan is in the Dave Ramsey studios and lockstep in on his principles but his topics focus more on building wealth rather than getting out of debt.

Do you have a lot of debt? Or are you just trying to be budget conscious?

If you are truly just starting, maybe do something simple like opening a stash account. DM me if you want a referral code for the app. Also, I’m married to a non-american—you may want to look into opening an investment account in where-ever you are from. It’s great for when the usd exchange rate is high and you are earning usd.

Question for parent 🐠s. What are the pro and cons of having 2 or more kids. Wife and I are exhausted with our 18 month old (who we both love more than anything in this world!). While we do miss the initial 6-9 months phase of parenthood, don’t know if we can do this again. Also, with us being 35-36, we have to decide if we want to have another kid soon.

Capgemini I joined sometime back at D1 level , I do technical work most of time like coding, dev, testing etc.
I have worked a lot in my 14 years and still have required skills needed for the work. I don't have energy to slog any further. Moreover I get anxiety when I see junior level people doing same work as me and earning more or same.
I feel cannot sit longer hrs due to back issues and other health issues and family commitments.

Can I change to management side without risking my job .

We’re considering adding wearables tracking to pull in health metrics for a wellness app. Let’s say we plan on doing iOS only and one approach is only doing apple health integration, while another is to use a 3rd party aggregator like Validic or Humanapi to integrate once and get access to Fitbit, Oura, WearOS, and tons of other wearables. Which route would you suggest?

Has anyone here gotten covid more that three times?
