Wanted to share smth I found recently. I felt like it was pretty darn accurate. I’ll provide the link here but there’s a screenshot I took that I feel I can relate to quite heavily. https://pairedlife.com/love/infatuations
I’ve struggled with so many heavy infatuations before and a friend recommended this. Hope it helps anyone else out there who’s gone through this or may be going through this right now.

So if the provider (psychiatrist) is in network, there is a certain copay amount. It is different for every plan. For some plan the copay is 0$ (generally 40$) per visit. Once you reach 1500 dollars of fees for the year (all costs including surgery, xray and so on). Only thing you would need to pay is copay.
Agree on the above. You will often pay a copay up front, and until you hit your deductible, you will be billed for the remaining balance after each session (though at least with my plan, and I think this is standard, they negotiate better rates for you so you pay less than if you just had no insurance). After you meet your deductible, costs go down drastically and you either pay a copay, or some other low amount under coinsurance (ex., 10% of bill). Then eventually your plan will have an out of pocket maximum, after which the plan covers you fully. I HIGHLY recommend calling your insurance provider though and confirming each of these items with them.
Also, every psychiatrist may have different rates, but I see one through a major hospital system, and I think until I hit my deductible this year, my cost per visit of 50 minutes was like $150ish (total - copay plus remaining bill). You can often get a free consult too (ask if they offer this) so that you can get an idea of if it will be a good fit for you before forking over cash.
You may want to see a therapist instead of a psychiatrist. Unless you are looking for medication.
The cost is cheaper. Stay in network too. Check if EY is offering any special programs. PwC uses United healthcare and right now all therapy copays are waived. In addition, we have access to free online sessions through ginger app. I know we have other things available to help mental well being so imagine EY would offer something as well.
Our internal website has a page dedicated to covid related services the firm is offering, check there or call your insurance company.
